All trainers retained by the Institute of Property Education meet Australian Quality Framework standards for vocational training in the real estate industry and are well versed in teaching seasoned professionals as well as those new to the real estate industry.

IPE trainers have appropriate industry qualifications, extensive practical industry experience and maintain current industry practice and knowledge.

Director of Studies - Paul van der Kallen

Paul holds unrestricted registration as a real estate valuer as well as being a licenced real estate agent and accredited auctioneer. He is an associate of the Australian Property Institute and holds a masters degree in property development together with a graduate diploma in vocational education and training. 

Paul teaches currently and has lectured in numerous undergraduate and post graduate property subjects at the University of Technology, Sydney since 2001.

Paul is experienced in the design, programming and delivery of university degree and post graduate property courses as well as vocational real estate and valuation courses at TAFE NSW.

Paul's property valuation experience includes roles with the NSW Department of Planning, NSW Roads & Traffic Authority, Sydney CBD valuation firms as well as a specialist hotel valuation company.  His real estate experience includes several years in Sydney CBD and metropolitan commercial and industrial investments and development site sales.
